How to use the Tinea Treatment Pack

All socks should be washed in hot water with 10-15 drops of 100% East Cape Manuka oil and if possible allowed to dry in direct sunlight.

The affected area should be washed thoroughly with Manuka soap and any soft or loose skin removed.

The affected area should be dried thoroughly with a small towel kept exclusively for this purpose, (the towel should be washed daily in the same wash as socks treated with East Cape Manuka oil)

The affected area should be treated with 100% East Cape Manuka oil on a cotton bud or similar, and rubbed well in to the affected area, toe nails should be clipped very short and special attention should be paid to getting good coverage with oil between the toes, around and under toe nails and anywhere else that tinea appears to be present.

Any other areas that may be affected like the groin or armpits should have East Cape Manuka cream applied daily.

Treatment should continue every day for 2-3 weeks using 100% Manuka oil on affected areas, when the infection appears to be controlled, treatment should continue for a further 2 weeks using 25% Manuka oil, and washing with Manuka soap
